Anthony D’Aries is the author of The Language of Men: A Memoir (Hudson
Whitman Press, 2012), which received the PEN/New England Discovery Prize. His
essays have appeared in Boston magazine, Solstice, The Good Men Project, Shelf
Awareness, The Literary Review, and elsewhere. He directs the MFA in Creative and
Professional Writing at Western Connecticut State University.
Amy Monticello is the author of the memoir-in-essays Close Quarters (Sweet
Publications) and How to Euthanize a Horse, a collection of grief essays that won the
2016 Arcadia Press Chapbook contest in nonfiction. She teaches at Suffolk
University in Boston, MA.
