Julie Forgione is working on two collections: one of short stories and another of poetry.

Mike Fiorito’s book Call Me Guido was just published by Ovunque Siamo Press in 2019.

Maria Lisella’s Thieves in the Family was published by NYQ Books; she launched her husband Gil Fagiani’s first posthumous collection, Missing Madonnas in 2018 and is working on a joint collection.

Peter Marra’s writings explore addiction, love, sex and secrets. Author of 4 poetry books and over 300 poems, his latest poetry collection is Random Crucifixions: Obsessions, Dolls and Maniac Cameras

IAWA Boston at IDEA Festival: Save the Date

After the success of last year’s launch event, IDEA Boston returns with another two-day festival that will have everyone talking! Mark your calendars: Nov. 1-2. Marisa Labozzetta is the author of the novels, Sometimes It Snows in America and Stay With Me, Lella; the collection of short stories, At the Copa; and her latest collection of linked stories, Thieves Never Steal in the Rain. She is a two-time Eric Hoffer Award winner, a John Gardner Fiction Book Award Finalist, and a Pushcart Prize nominee. A Brooklyn native, she lives in Northampton, Massachusetts.


Richard Vetere’s most recent project is the award-winning documentary Where Are We Now?  The Italian American Today, which he wrote, directed and co-produced.   His award-winning short film, The Kids Menu based on his play starred Vincent Pastore.  Vetere has published 25 plays including Caravaggio, Gangster Apparel, Machiavelli, Lady Macbeth and Her Lover.  He is currently developing a TV series based on his novel Baroque (Bordighera Press.)

His newest novel The White Envelope is pending publication, has already been awarded Honorable Mention in the Amazin’ Whodunit Mystery Writers Series.  His novel, The Third Miracle for which he co-wrote the screenplay adaptation starring Ed Harris, and produced by Francis Ford Coppola was released by Sony Picture Classics.  Other novels include The Writers Afterlife and Champagne and Cocaine.

Vetere has published three poetry collections: The Other Colors in a Snow Storm, Memories of Human Hands and A Dream of Angels.
