Maria Mazziotti Gillan is a recipient of the 2014 George Garrett Award for Outstanding Community Service in Literature from AWP, and the 2008 American Book Award for All That Lies Between Us. She is Founder and Executive Director of the Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College in Paterson, NJ, and editor of the Paterson Literary Review. Professor Emerita of English and creative writing at SUNY Binghamton, she has published 23 books.

Maria Lisella is the sixth Queens Poet Laureate 2015-2018. Twice nominated for a Pushcart Poetry Prize, her collections include Thieves in the Family (NYQ Books), and two chapbooks, Amore on Hope Street and Two Naked Feet. She curates the Italian American Writers Association readings in New York City, contributes to USA Today, the bilingual La Voce di New York and the Jerusalem Post.
