Playwright Elizabeth Primamore and

Multidisciplinary Artist Clare Ultimo

WHO:

Elizabeth Primamore plays Just Fine and Blank were produced in HB Studio’s Ten Minute Play Festivals. Craig Lucas and Jack Hofsiss provided dramaturgical support for her full-length play, Undone, which has received readings at The Flea, The Cherry Lane, and Ensemble Studio Theatre. Our First Christmas and A Child’s Best Interest have been included in a number of short play festivals.  In July 2016, she was a fellow at The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.  Her most recent play, The Professor and Michael Field was a semifinalist for the 2017 Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference and is being considered as a candidate for this summer’s conference. She teaches at the Borough of Manhattan Community College.

Clare Ultimo is a multidisciplinary artist, poet and educator. She has an MFA in Integrated Media Arts and her visual work has been recently featured as part of a three-woman show at the Taller Boricua Gallery in Spanish Harlem. Her poetry has appeared in the Paterson Literary Review and many downtown zines through the years. She is working on a new collection of poetry for publication in 2018. Presently, she teaches Design/Media Arts for CUNY, is married to the amazing Robert (LaSardo), and still lives in Brooklyn.
