Maria Giura and
Maria Giura is the author of What My Father Taught Me, (Bordighera Press), which was recently named a finalist for the Paterson Book Prize. Her second book, a memoir, is forthcoming from Apprentice House. She has won awards from the Academy of American Poets, the Paterson Literary Review, and Salem College’s Center for Women Writers. Giura has taught at St. John’s University, Montclair State, and Binghamton University where she received her PhD.
Maria Terrone’s debut essay collection, At Home in the New World (Bordighera Press), published in 2018, includes work from such journals as Witness, Green Mountains Review, and The Common. Poetry editor of Italian Americana, she is the author of Eye to Eye; A Secret Room in Fall (McGovern Prize, Ashland Poetry Press); The Bodies We Were Loaned, and a chapbook, American Gothic, Take 2.
All Readings begin with an Open Mic, followed by two features and book sales and signings.
